KOREAN PEOPLE'S ARMY STATEMENT SUPPORTED IN BRITAIN

KPA Statement Supported in Britain

Pyongyang, February 3 (KCNA) -- British organizations expressed support for the statement of a spokesman for the General Staff of the Korean People's Army.
The British Association for the Study of Songun Policy and the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea in their joint statement on Jan. 26 branded the south Korean puppet defense minister's reactionary utterances about "preemptive strike" at the DPRK as reckless remarks of a war maniac that may provoke another war on the Korean Peninsula and invite the third World War.
His remarks are quite contrary to the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration and they are throwing a wet blanket over the improvement of the inter-Korean relations, the joint statement pointed out, and said:
It is a matter entirely pertaining to sovereignty for the DPRK, a dignified independent and sovereign state, to have access to self-defensive nuclear deterrent and the south Korean puppet authorities have no qualification to talk about the DPRK's nuclear deterrent as well as "preemptive strike" theory.
We fully support the stand of the KPA General Staff to take prompt and decisive military actions against any attempt of the south Korean puppet authorities and blow up the major targets including the commanding center, a cancer-like entity threatening independence, peace and progress, in order to defend the sovereignty, dignity and honor of the DPRK and its people-centered socialist system.
The British Branch of the Korean Friendship Association headquartered in Spain in a statement on January 27 expressed full support for the said statement and demanded that the south Korean puppet authorities stop all provocative acts and retract any reckless remarks at once.
