March against unemployment in London

On Saturday 28 November, more than a thousand youth march for jobs in London

More than 1,000 unemployed young people have marched through central London demanding jobs as the rate of youth unemployment stands at a record high.

The For Bolshevism-AUCPB also marched and distributed copies of the AUCPB journal "For Bolshevism inside the communist and workers movement"

Students, union activists and campaigners condemned the government for "failing our futures".

Youth unemployment of 16 to 24-year-olds has risen to 943,000.

Earlier this month the UK youth unemployment rate rose to 19.8%.

Unemployment in the UK totalled 2.46 million in the three months to September, although the 30,000 increase was the smallest since May 2008.



One protestser said, "Where I'm from graduates feel lucky to flip burgers"

Nevertheless youth unemployment - measuring the number of 16 to 24-year-olds out of work - rose by 15,000 to 943,000.



Protesters travelled from as far afield as France and northern Scotland to join the march past the Houses of Parliament.

The 26-year-old added: "The government has done absolutely nothing to help so this generation must take things into our own hands."




This march highlights the plight of the million young people who are now unemployed and the many more who are facing joblessness as a result of this recession," he said.

"Young people are being forced to pay for the economic crisis whilst bankers award themselves another £5bn in bonuses this month."

Following the march, demonstrators gathered in Geraldine Mary Harmsworth Park.

REPORT ON THE INTERNATIONAL KFA MEETING HELD ON 14 NOVEMBER 2009 IN ITALY

Just recently returned from the KFA international meeting in Fermo in Italy.This was
held on November 14th.The central theme of the meeting was the 100th
birth anniversary of the great leader comrade Kim Il Sung.

The meeting was a great success and the historic and beautiful
Italian city of Fermo proved to be an excellent venue for the meeting.We found the Italian
people very hospitable and helpful.My thanks to Italian KFA for all the hard work they
did for the meeting as well their assistance to myself and my family.Italian KFA has
good relations with the Party of Italian Communists so we were able use a big muncipal
hall for the meeting free of charge.

Delegations from Spain,Italy,Switzerland,Germany,Romania ,UK,Thailand and the USA attended.Messages were sent by KFA chapters in Singapore ,Colombia and Norway.DPRK
embassy staff from Rome were present.

I was able to converse with KFA Presidenty Alejandro Cao De Benos as well with
KFA delegations from other countries as well the DPRK embassy staff.

We had a morning of speeches and then film shows in the afternoon.Some highlights

President *Kim Il Sung* is the greatest national hero, liberator and
benevolent father of the Korean people and sent by Heaven. With his
birth in the straw-thatched peasant's house in Mangyongdae on April 15,
1912 the Sun rise over the Korean nation, which was enslaved as a colony
by the ruthless Japanese imperialists in those days.
At the helm of the Korean People's Revolutionary Army (KPRA), founded
and commanded by him, Generalissimo *Kim Il Sung *led the anti-Japanese
armed struggle to an all-triumphant victory and liberated the
fatherland
from the colonial yoke of Japanese imperialism. In the liberated
homeland a new democratic Korea was built. The Korean people cheered
President *Kim Il Sung* as its great saviour and liberator.
President *Kim Il Sung* founded the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) as the

genocide against the Korean people, on June 25, 1950. The great
Generalissimo *Kim Il Sung*, the all-triumphant, resolute and
incomparable supreme commander and outstanding military strategist,
proclaimed the Fatherland Liberation War and led the
heroic Korean
People's Army and the brave Korean people to shining victory over the US
imperialism's aggression. The first time in history, the United States "
must sign a truth agreement without a victory.

REPORT

I attended,on behalf of UK KFA, the KFA international meeting in Fermo in
Italy.I took my family with me to afford them the opportunity to see
beautiful and historic Italy. The international meeting was held on
November 14th.The central theme of the meeting was the 100th birth
anniversary of the great leader comrade Kim Il Sung.

The meeting was a resounding success.The wonderful Italian city of Fermo
proved to be an excellent venue for the meeting.We found the Italian
people very hospitable and helpful.My thanks to Italian KFA for all the
hard work they did for the meeting as well their assistance to myself and
my family.

Delegations from Spain,Italy,Switzerland,Germany,Romania ,UK,Thailand and
the USA attended.Messages were sent by KFA chapters in Singapore ,Colombia
and Norway.DPRK embassy staff from Rome were present.There was a good
mix of people at the meeting with different age groups and occupations
represented.Some delegates were in their 20s and a minority of us were
middle aged!

The meeting started off with an introduction by Flavio Pettinari KFA
Italy.Then Alejandro Cao De Benos spoke very eloquently about the life
of the great leader comrade Kim Il Sung and the role and mission of KFA.
On the top table was Dr Massimo Urbani,secretary general of Italy KFA
and former Italian Ambassador to the DPRK.Some speeches and messages

"In 2012 on April 15 the Korean people together with the Juche idea
followers of the whole world and friends of Korea,principally the
KFA,will celebrate the 100th birth anniversary of the great leader comrade
Kim Il Sung,the eternal president of the DPRK.sun of Juche.The birth of
the great leader comrade Kim Il Sung was undoubtedly amongst one of the
most important events in history as it marked the dawn of a new age,the
age of Juche.This is an age in which the popular masses have emerged as
masters of history.....
The great leader comrade Kim Il Sung built a unique people centred
socialist system in Korea,a most advanced and superior socialist system
.Under his leadership a socialist paradise with no exploitiation and
oppression and even no taxation came into being .Under the socialist
system created by him there is no unemployment or homelessness and medical
care and education are free.He built the DPRK into a mighty socialist

Various presentations to KFA delegates and Officials were made
at the meeting.I was awarded a DPRK revolutionary poster for my work
in KFA and also Kevin Cain and Shaun Pickford from the UK were. Alejandro
Cao De Benos was awarded a diploma by the Union of Romanian Communists.

Some films were shown in the afternoon.These included the Spanish
TV3 documentary about the DPRK and Alejandro Cao De Benos as well as
a film of a KFA trip to the DPRK.

in connection with the act of provocation by the South Korean warmonger / US puppets against the DPRK.

On Tuesday 10 November the US fed South Korean puppet warmongers staged an act of provocation along a western sea border area. While a DPRK navel vessel was on a routine guard mission, on its return, navel vessels of the puppet South Korean forces chased it and opened fire on it in a grave act of provocation.

The DPRK Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) said that its vessel “lost no time to deal a prompt retaliatory blow at the provokers", and continued by saying: "Much flurried by this, the group of warships of the South Korean forces hastily took to flight to the waters of their side." This is not the first time the US puppets in the south of Korea have provoked tensions in this area by sending their warships into DPRK waters. Today, the DPRK patrol boat was on "routine guard," and the incident occurred because of "provocation perpetrated by the South Korean forces in the waters of the north side."
"The South Korean military authorities should make an apology to the North side for the armed provocation and take a responsible measure against the recurrence of the similar provocation," said a DPRK military report.

FOR BOLSHEVISM-AUCPB staunchly condems the warmongering south Korean puppets, fed by the Americans who are continualy stoking up tension against the DPRK, hoping to a provoke a new war on the Korean peninsula and destroy socialist Democratic People’s Republic of Korea. KFA meeting in Manchester reported in Korean Central News Agency (KCNA)

Korean People's Just Cause Supported in Britain
Pyongyang, November 6 (KCNA) -- A meeting of the British Branch of the Korean Friendship Association headquartered in Spain was held in Manchester on Oct. 31.
A report and speeches were made there.
Dermot Hudson, representative of the branch, in a report introduced the dynamic activities conducted by the branch in support of the just cause of the Korean people in the past and underlined the need to further expand its work.
Shawn Pikford, secretary general of the branch, recalled that the Korean people under the wise leadership of President Kim Il Sung achieved a shining victory in the Korean war launched by the U.S. imperialists in the 1950s.
Noting that the DPRK is firmly defending its sovereignty from the U.S., he said that the DPRK's nuclear deterrent is justifiable and it will surely build a thriving nation thanks to the might of the Songun politics of General Secretary Kim Jong Il.
A professor at University of London urged the U.S. to pull its forces of aggression from south Korea at once, holding that Korea's reunification should be achieved independently and peacefully free from outside interference.

SUCCESSFUL KFA MEETING IN MANCHESTER 31 NOV 09

The Korean Friendship Association UK held an extremely succesful meeting in Manchester on October 31st at the Friends Meeting house in Manchester.It was well attended.Members of the labour and peace movement as well as promenient academicsand students and also KFA members from the locality and different parts of the country.It was chaired by KFA Official Delegate for the UK Dermot Hudson.He opened the meeting by saying no country in history had been more slander,maligned and defamedthan the DPRK.He said the KFA exists to defend the DPRKcomrade Shaun Pickford spoke for an hour on "The Truth about Peoples Korea".He gavean outline history of Korea.He pointed out that Korea was divided by the US imperialists who attacked in 1950 thus starting the Fatherland Liberation war.The US committedbrutal massacars such as Sinchon Ri were 35,000 people were murdered.The US imperialists lost 405,000 troops in the war and satellite states including the UK lost 30,000 troops. After the war the US imperialist persisted in their hostile moves such as the "Pueblo incident".The "Pueblo " is moored on the River Taedong for all to see,it has 3 heavy machine guns.The speaker said most of the nuclear tests in the world had been carried by the US butonly 2 by the DPRK.The US has a stockpile of 9,000 nuclear weapons and also has1000 short range nuclear weapons targetted on the DPRK.Therefore it was justifablethat the DPRK developed its own nuclear deterrent. The US imperialists and other reactionaries like to talk about the Berlin Wall but hadconstructed a wall dividing Korea..Comrade spoke about his meeting with the Anti Imperialist National Democratic front of south (formerly Revolutionary Party for Reunification) and informed the audience about the martyrdom of Kim Jong Tae as well as fascist repressionin south Korea.He said 5000 people were butchered by the south Korean puppets atKwangju in 1980 and it was turned into a city of ghosts.He also explained that southKorea is the real human rights violator and that it has repressive laws against labourunions(which have been copied by reactionaries here).Comrade Pickford explained the Juche idea to the audience.An example of the self reliance of the DPRK economy was the construction of theWest Sea barrage which comrade Pickford visited on his trip.This was completed in1986 ,the construction having been began in 1981.Comrade Pickford explained thatit had been built entirely with DPRK funds ,not one dollar,pound or euro from the IMF or multi-nationals or imperialist banks.Comrade Pickford said he saw no sign of poverty or starvation in the DPRK and hehad travelled to Mt Myohang by car and also had travelled back to Beijing by train.Hesaid the 150 day campaign had been very successful as it had boosted industrialproduction.He had visited the 3 revolution exhibition and seen different DPRK manufactured goods such as computers and washing machines.Light industry wasbeen developed and Taedong beer was a good example.The speaker praised the education system in the DPRK that is free at all levels.Educationat all levels in the DPRK is free and there are a large number of univeristies in theDPRK including the prestigious Kim Il Sung university.The Grand Peoples Study Housewhich is built in the centre of Pyongyang rather than a presidential palace.Here ordinaryworking people can come and study and listen to lectures.Comrade Pickford presented Mervyn Drage with a copy of the DPRK picture album"Korean Scenery" in appreciation of his efforts in organisng the meetingComrade Kevin Cain read a message from the All Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks.It congratulated the Workers Party of Korea on its 64th anniversary and the 83rd anniversaryof the Down With Imperialism Union.Nina Andreeva,general secretary of the AUCPBalso had sent greetings to the Juche Idea Study Group of England and supportedKFA and Korean solidarity activities in the UKDr Hugh Goodacre spoke about Korean reunification and the struggle for peace in eastAsia. He said that the US tried to dominate Asia and treat the Pacific ocean asan American lake.The US imperialists had on many occasions brought the situation closeto war,parrticularly by carrying out aggressive exercises such as "Team Spirit"He said the division of Korea was artifical and arbitary.South Korea's 'growth' has only happened because the US wanted it to,because the US and other Western countries had opened their markets to south Korean goods on preferential terms but had not done the same for African countries.He said the struggle for Korean reunification is part of the struggle for world peace as well the total and finalliberation of Asia.A question was asked about US forces in Guam.A question was asked about the six party talks and 'opening up' and reform'.Willthe DPRK take part in six party talks again?.Dermot Hudson replied that the DPRKwithdrew from the 6 party talks because of the unjustied UNSC sanctions imposedafter the satellite launch.An analysis of the 6 party talks shows that besides theUS 2 of the parties are military allies of the US and the other 2 were big powers thathad voted for the UNSC sanctions.There was speculation about the DPRK returningto 6 party talks.Ultimately whether any negotiations take place- 2 party or 6 party,thesedepend on the US dropping its hostile policy against the DPRK.He also said thatchairman Kim Jong Il in a work published a year ago rejected the concept of 'opening up'.Light refreshments of tea and coffee were served.The DPRK National Anthem was played.A DPRK book exhibition was held.

On 17 October 2009,the Juche Idea Study Group Group and the Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK (ASSPUK) held a succesful meeting at the historic Lucas Arms in central London to celebrate the 64th anniversary of the foundation of the Workers Party of Korea and the 83rd anniversary of the Down With Imperialism Union. Chairman Dermot Hudson opened the meeting.He said it was also the 12th anniversaryof the election of the great leader comrade Kim Jong Il as general secretary of theWorkers Party of Korea and said that he is leading the Songun cause of the WPK to victory. Kevin Cain read out a statement from Nina Andreeva general secretary of the All Union- Communist Party of Bolsheviks on the occasion of the anniversary of the WPK andDIU which praised the WPK's exploits in leading the revolution. The WPK is the standard bearer of a free independent socialist state and under the leadership of the great leader comrade Kim Jong Il is marching towards the high peaks of Juche socialism despite unfavourable conditions.Dr Hugh Goodacre said that the work "The Workers' Party of Korea Is a Juche-Type Revolutionary Party Which Inherited the Glorious Tradition of the DIU" was published in1982 which was a momentous time in the development of the world revolutionary movementwhen a change in generations was taking place. He recalled how in 1985 he had organisedthe first national Juche Seminar in Britain around the work "The Workers' Party of Korea Is a Juche-Type Revolutionary Party Which Inherited the Glorious Tradition of the DIU"and how in the 1980s an upsurge was taking place in the class struggle with the Minersstrike and also the uprisings of oppressed inner city youth as well the Irish strugglefor independence and liberation. He said how the DIU was a forerunner of the Songun ideaand how great achievements are being made under the banner of Songun in the anti imperialist class struggle.Dermot Hudson said "The Workers Party of Korea which was founded on October 10th originally as the Communist Party of North Korea by the great leader comrade Kim Il Sung and is led today by the great leader comrade Kim Jong Il is a Juche type party totally different to both bourgeois parties such as Tory and New Labour and also to the former ruling parties of the socialist countries.It is different because it is rooted the popular masses"...............The WPK was defined by both the great leader comrades Kim Il Sung andKim Jong Il as the Mother party.
